Forum Rules and Guidelines

This forum is intended to encourage public debate on Formula One. We expect people's opinions to differ, and encourage freedom of speech and an exchange of ideas. But by using this forum, you are participating in a community that is intended for all our members. Therefore, we reserve the right to remove any content posted that we deem unacceptable. These rules are intended to ensure the enjoyment of the forum by everyone.

Rules

  1. Do not post material that:
    • contains vulgar, profane, abusive, racist or hateful language.
    • attacks anyone in a personal, racial or religious way.
    • advertises, promotes or offers to trade any goods or services.
    • contains copyrighted or other proprietary material of any kind without the express permission of the owner of that material.
  2. Posts must be in English.
  3. Do not register and use multiple accounts.

Guidelines

  1. Before starting a new thread, check if one already exists on the same subject and if it does reply to that thread instead.
  2. Try not to post too far off the subject of a thread, if you want to say something off-topic then start a new thread.
  3. When replying to a post, use quoting as appropriate, deleting all but the relevant portions of the text.
  4. Don't press Return at the end of each line, just type as normal and press Return to start a new paragraph.
  5. Don't type all in upper case, this is the Internet equivalent of shouting.
  6. Check your post for errors before posting it, if you need to correct it after posting then you can edit it.
  7. Try to make your posts informative, not simple one-word replies.
  8. Don't post material from other web sites, instead post a link to the web site's page.
  9. Keep your profile details up-to-date, particularly your e-mail address - if you forget your password you can get it e-mailed to this e-mail address.
