Well the first major of the year - The Masters - kicks off in Augusta tomorrow, who do you think will win? I'll put my money on Tiger, with Phil Mickelson being the second favourite.

I think this year we might see younsters raise their game. I'm thinking of Justin Rose in particular.

I read earlier that Tiger was asked if this year someone younger than him might win it, and he asked "Who?", some names were suggested but he dismissed them. There isn't really a strong new generation coming through with golf to challenge the older players, where's the next Tiger? Rose hasn't impressed me. It's about time that Sergio Garcia stepped up though.

Rose was coming on strong at the end of last season and he might continue to improve. Garcia has been on a slow downward slope for a while, but he has the talent to win.

Yes, that's a great start from Justin Rose, and David Howell is doing well too. A lot of the big guns had a bad start, it is early days though, long way to go!

They are already flying, but will they keep in the air for another day. We will see at the end of the day.

at this time, still flying... and the day is over.

How is JR liked in the UK?

You two sure don't seem to have any confidence in him at all. You still think he will choke tomorrow as you thought he would today?

Yes, here's the leaderboard at the end of day 2:

B Wetterich-2
T Clark-2
V Taylor-1
J Kellylevel
V Singhlevel
Z Johnsonlevel
J Roselevel
D Howell+1
L Glover+1
P Harrington+1
B Dredge+1
S Appleby+1
G Ogilvy+1

Any of these could jump into the lead today really, Vijay Singh looks the most dangerous of this bunch though, he's the big gun there who's done it all before.

Justin Rose has done very well. As for how much he's supported in this country, I don't think very much. He's about as English as Greg Rusedski or Zola Budd were, born in South Africa and lives in America, so there's no great support I don't think.

What is Rudedski, he sure as hell in not Canadian, I thought he was BritishWink

If Rose wins, many will remember he is British!

He is extremely focused, I I think he has a fair chance to win. Still flying.

Have you seen Appleby pants, man, does he looks ridiculous in those or what. At least two inches too short.

It should come as a surprise to no one that Tiger is only one stroke off the lead after the third round. He's set for the kill. Sorry Justin.
