Well if Mac get punished, over this Stepney crap, then he might be back sooner than expected. I think if they gave him a Michael Schumacher type of team, where he was a clear number one, he would return in a heartbeat. I do not foresee him staying there 3 years if LH only gets better and better and becomes RD's favorite, as others have in the past!!

Can't see why the current affair has any bearing on FA's decision whether to leave McLaren.

If Renault produce a good car then I am sure that he will be off. In fact if Hamilton continues his current form he may consider leaving. Where to is the question, I doubt Ferrari would be interested.Where else could he be more competitive than McLaren?

The car is more important than the driver as LH will find out

Like all the rest.... he would go with any team to pay the cash as long as anyone is willing to sign a check.....Look at DC....

The reason I said that van was because he has in his contract a clause that states if Mac does anything that would be deemed hurtful to FA's image, he can cancel his contract and leave. That is why I thought if Mac do get punished then we could see him move back to Renault. If he is worth a half a second per lap then Renault would be a lot closer to the front runners. Of course, all of this has to wait until we get to hear exactly what MC had to say in his affidavit and then what the FIA does about it!!

Yes, I think you're right, lotus - LH will continue to kick his arse. Smile

I am glad FA is showing composure this past races and not being desperate to beat LH Big Grin what FA should have been doing some few races back. He showed great good composure and luck,of course, last year that gave him his second title Smile I wanted either FA or KR, both 2005 title rivals, to win the 2007 title. Both FA and KR are very exciting to watch them race Big Grin Now that FA is 2 points behind LH, it is more likely that the title will be decided in the last race, hopefully Big Grin

I think it'll happen much earlier, at least between LH and FA

I think FA is on a bit of a charge now and will overtake LH in the championship, and then just run away with it to the end of the season!

FA for third WDC!!!

(Ultimately as long as it's a macca then I'm a happy girl.... but for all our sanity I hope it's FA as it would be unbearable if it was LH...)

It's the team that maketh the man.

I will second that motion. I will take anyone other than LH as a champion. The coverage and the insanity would be unbearable. Also, LH really will hit the skids at some point. It is unlikely that he will continue the way he has been. Either way, more power to the winner.

I believe LH can fight back. Although a Ferrari fan, I also believe I can live with the 'coverage and insanity' if LH is WDC. Big Grin Wink
