Who's your favorite? I think this will be between Nadal and Fed, and I will be rooting for GulbisSmile

Nadal

Must've missed him! Is he in - his back spasms gone?

I watched him play this morning; he seems to be on top form

Wow, Tsonga defeated Juan Monaco in straight sets. Lookin' good. I like him. He's got a great personality. Gotta love the name too. TSONGAAA!!

Tsonga did well against Ljubicic - judging by the comments on the net...

Now come on, Ernests!

Nadal was picture perfect, so was Federer and too was Andy Murray and Tsonga is getting battle tested (damn, the man's got character to play with all that back pain. Well done! Well done!). Djokovic is cruising. This will be one hell of a Grand Slam I tell you.

The gap between the top4 and the rest among men is pretty big. Looks like Federer, Nadal, Djokovic and Murray will be in all semis this year. There was a time (in early nineties), when women's semifinals of all grandslams would have Steffi, Seles, Sanchez and Sabatini/Conchita. It never used to be like this earlier in the men's draw. There would be some top guy knocked off in the first 2-3 rounds.

There used to be specialists (base-line, serve-and-volley) etc. Nowadays, it is all the same, play from the line, hit really hard and come forward if you get a good opportunity. Agree, people are more athletic and have good stamina. But the risk factor is missing, is very predictable these days. It's not that matches aren't interesting to watch. But I used to love those days more...

Massa, the potential 2009 champion!!!

Nadal looks invincible, but I suspect there could be a massive shock and upset among the top three as early as in 1/4th...

looked at how he handled Blake today... some smashing serves, liked the way he's playing - if he serves well, then he can smash anyoneSmile
