Sorry van for starting a duplicate thread. But the title of the other thread does not justify the grand return of the Champion.

7 wins from 7 races. Thats what I am looking forward to

Well there are seven races left this season, so Schumi could get seven wins and seventy points, which is the same points as Jenson, but one win more, so Schumi would win his eighth championship... it's possible! Tongue

OK, you guys can wake up from your enlightening dream!! While I am one of his biggest fans, I do not expect him to win but give the field someone else to worry about. I am sure that JB/RB/RB at Brawn GP must be saying "what else can go wrong!" :-)

The emporer is back ha ha ha. Bollocks !!!!

Bernie must have forked out a fortune to make this happen, lets face the truth Button leading the championship is probably the most boring thing that has happened in the sport since the Hungary circuit was introduced, Mr Burns, I mean Bernie must be rubbing his hands together, I predict record TV ratings for Spain.

I am sure Bernie knew it earlier than we did, but in this case he did not cause it to happen. MSC willingness and Ferrari's (read: Luca's) wish to reinvigorate their campaign, be it image-wise if not point-wise, led to this comeback. I only wonder how someone in Ferrari camp will feel if MSC beats Kimi... Remember, MSC made way to Kimi

I've noticed alot more posts in hos forum, just due to Schumi coming back for one race, this leads to believe that F1 needs these icons, the current list of drivers are a bit boring, no one really exciting right now. They don't need to change rules to make the sport better, just get the right personalities in the cockpit, comes back to that idea of Rossi taking a seat.

Life after Schumacher, interesting.

I would compare his comeback to lance's. He came back after few years and the guy finished 3rd in the tour.

Winning all the races is a big Fish and a few got hooked to it. Realistically I would think that he can win 5.

Guys just as a thought the cars now aren't as quick as they were in Schumis days, maybe that would help an older man keep up lol.

How old were Mansell and Prost when they won their last titles

And the cars were no less physically hard to drive back then

Hey a snippet from an article i read, of a couple of the f1 drivers going karting. BMW driver Robert Kubica was talking about a karting event that he and Toyota's Timo Glock had organised the previous weekend.

"We knew that maybe Michael (Schumacher) was coming," said Kubica, one of the most highly rated drivers in F1, "so we asked some drivers and they joined us. We had good fun, a good day's driving. Also a bit of competition because once you have drivers - even if it is not an F1 track, but karting - there is always competition. There is always someone who wants to be the fastest but overall I think it was good fun."

So who was fastest, Robert, someone asked.

"Michael was the fastest," he said.

Life after Schumacher, interesting.
