Hi all,

I am somewhat of a golfing novice, and i am looking to purchase a golf mat to practice at home, i was wondering if anyone could recommend any good ones.

Thanks in advance for your help

Stan welcome. As you are a novice I assume you are hitting into a net at home. Why waste your money? The cheapest available will do ,or improvise ,or go to the range.

You can waste a lot on clubs etc when you are a novice.

Another option is to ask at your local driving range if they have replaced any mats, if they use mats, and you can have/purchase one of those. When you are practicing you definitely want something that is not going to shift on you when you contact the mat. If you can, try and find one that you actually stand on!!
