Formula One: Double Diffusers
Well we have started already with Ferrari already accusing others of pursuing extreme solutions in their interpretations of double diffuser designs and only a few cars have been unveiled. You would have thought the FIA would have learnt from last year and the rules would be crystal clear.
The car is more important than the driver 75% car 25% driver
Paddy Lowe said they consulted with the FIA and got guidance. I imagine their duffuser is legal. Maybe Ferrari is just playing politics in case their car proves slow. I haven't seen any pics of the Ferrari diffuser. Mac was pretty sneeky with theirs.

Only worthless from 2011 though - still vitally important for 2010. Have a look at the official F1 sites photos - some very different diffuser designs this year - the Sauber one is enormous...click here

How many wil be found to be illegal I wonder ????

Hopefully none will be. Wouldn't it be nice to have a year without legal wranglings becoming more important to the media than the racing?

Ferrari signed Aero guru from Toyota in December. I read they are already designing a "B" spec with better aero defuser worth .3 per lap....

I lightened them to be able to see a little better. So many different ideas.

Well done, f1aroo. Looks like 2010 will be another battle of diffusers.
F1 IS ALL ABOUT PASSION, FERRARI IS BEYOND THAT!
I expect most will end up looking the same

There was an aero Guru at Toyota? Did he ever had any input in the F1 car?
