I was just wondering what you guys thought of LH deeming that the current non re-fillable cars are time bombs just waiting to go off. Harder to brake, heavier for the first half of a race, more force when involved in an accident, etc, etc.....your opinions?

I think it will might take the drivers a bit longer adjusting their driving style, but I don't think the cars will be "time bombs." Once the drivers know how their car's handling changes, it should be fine. Drivers will have to adjust their driving style more throughout the race, though.

A load of bollocks

Doh " a load of bollocks" you are experienced enough not to make that remark.

I did mention this earlier. I do think, without doubt that the larger fuel load does increase the risk of a fire following a crash. I know these modern tanks are very good but with the extra fuel, which may be stored in a more vulnerable location, could be a time bomb- this is what I think Hamilton was referring.

I have been involved in the aftermath of a race fire and it is not something I do wish to experience again

I would not normally advise this- but if you have any doubt look at Jo Schlesser's crash on Tube it is very unpleasant.

Those fuel loads are nothing new to F1, why the sudden driver concern van? This is what you like, as in the old days..

And in which year did Jo Schlesser have his accident? I think designs have improved, but I may be wrong......,Snore Also the chassis was made of magnesium which didn't help.

911 it is because of the good old days that I recall some of the bad old days that came with it 911 and fire was one of them. And as I said I had already expressed my doubts last year

But you don't mind the risks of pitcrews handeling the "bombs" by millisec timed refuelling in the pits?

Pit stops are not racing accidents. There are extinguishers trained on the car the car is undamaged- I cannot remember a mechanic ever receiving a serious burn can you ??

I remember Kimi beeing almost barbercued some months ago... and trained people with extinguishers are in every corner of todays tracks so I dont think Lewis, or you, have a heavy case. It's more likely bollocks like doh said.
